The most well known legend in the county of Nakoncha, the tale of Beowulf. A journey of a woman who was cast in flames and walked out to burn the world around her, the recovery of a woman who was tossed into flames and was scorched, and a loss that would shift the path of destiny.

At least, that's what most believe. Kris doesn't just hope that tale is true. She needs it to be true. All she wants in life is a chance to live. Between the magical illness slowly weakening her body, and the threat of her home's destruction, that seemed like an impossible dream. Quin didn't believe in magic. He certainly never thought he'd play a role in a legend from a different world. He'll find that there is far more to this story than he, or Kris, could have imagined. ***UPDATES EVERY FRIDAY***
