Matt Black - Book 1 of Re-Forge

Re-Forge is a five-part story presented as an historical biography of humankind written from an alien perspective, from a distant future.
Matt Black sets the scene for a story that spans the greater Cosmos. It begins 60,000 BC with the inception of a master strategy aimed at survival. It then leaps to the year AD 2230 and introduces the main heroic characters of the story. The story follows their growth through many trials including violent self-defence, romance and love, mystery, discovery, technology and much more.
The world is approaching the point of an apocalyptic end game as global pressures overpower reason. Reconciliation of world powers has become an unbreachable barrier and there is no longer room to manoeuvre or compromise.
Fingers hover over launch buttons as the human population holds it collective breath, hoping for some kind of miraculous deliverance. Matt Black and his friends may be the only humans who can influence the unavoidable outcome, if only they can solve human evolution's greatest 'unsolved' mystery... 'The Missing Link.'
