With the fall of the Grand Liyue Harbor, distress made everyone turn to the only people who had the ability to stop it - the Fatui.
Childe was one of those Fatui. Demanding leisure for labour, comfort for pain, and life for lives.

Liyue was no Monsdat, the idea of freedom was no easy prospect for citizens who relied on their contracts to keep everything a hold.
The Fatui *had* the mora and power to rebuild and keep Liyue safe, so what other options did the Adepti have aside from helping them rebuild? And the more they helped, the more each one fell under the Fatui's control...
