"I received a frantic call from Colin, his voice trembling as he told me to meet him at the abandoned bridge on the outskirts of town. Kamari had been found there, and the news he delivered was like a punch to the gut. The words echoed in my ears, refusing to make sense. How could this be? My heart felt like it was being torn apart, and I couldn't comprehend the cruelty of fate."

I did the one thing I promised her I would never do, no matter what, and now she hates me. She absolutely despises me and she's doing everything in her power to make my life a living hell, even if she hurts herself in the process. Even if it gets her killed.
