Estelle is healing from the death of her sister, her life, her sunshine. She writes a letter to herself and Kamari, her sister.
"I received a frantic call from Colin, his voice trembling as he told me to meet him at the abandoned bridge on the outskirts of town. Kamari had been found there, and the news he delivered was like a punch to the gut. The words echoed in my ears, refusing to make sense. How could this be? My heart felt like it was being torn apart, and I couldn't comprehend the cruelty of fate."
