They say that ignorance is bliss..... How true that turned out to be for High-school student, Max Durellson. Young Max was living his best life, hanging with friends, maintaining his grades, attending parties and eyeing up his crush. But that all comes crashing down when a violent gang chase Max into the forest with the intention to kill him, only for someone to save his life last-second. Except Max's saviour wasn't human...... but rather a terrifying cryptid that spares his life that faithful night...... Together, alongside his best friends Scott and Kyra, his gothic kid-sister sister Brooklyn "Gothi" Durrellson, his tomboy cousin Mei and his crush Christina, Max and the gang form the Cryptid hunters, a group dedicated to tracking cryptids, sometimes fighting them and occasionally having to kill them if they pose a threat to the greater good. Will Max and his crew be able to help humanity and Cryptids, and maybe track the Cryptid that saved Max? Or will they become a cryptid's next meal? Based on myths, urban legends and folklore.
