Emerick Avery- a cursed boy from a cursed family- at least that's how he has been treated most of his life. 

His father abandoned the family before his first birthday.

His brother went mad, obsessed with the Mystical Cursed Vaults. He was expelled and went missing.

His mother, already devastated by the abandonment of her husband, fell to pieces at the disappearance of her eldest son, leaving Emerick further isolated.

His uncle took Emerick under his wing and to the feet of the Dark Lord himself. His uncle's arrest and trial just before Emerick was to start Hogwarts, made sure the boy would be even more of a social pariah.

Emerick didn't care. He had one goal, one ambition. He would do everything in his power to solve the mystery behind the Cursed Vaults and find his brother, once and for all.
