Delilah and Rafe. Rafe and Delilah.
No matter how you twist and turn it, this two won't work together. Or maybe they do and they both don't know about it yet?
Delilah doesn't need anyone. Well maybe, just maybe, she does. In her first year of school she met Sarah Cameron and ever since the two have been inseparable. Particularly since Delilah's dad got cancer, they had each other's back. Whether she stayed days in the hospital, or practically lived with the Cameron's while her mom stayed by her dads side, while he slowly lost his fight against cancer, Sarah always was her 'quiet' when the world was too loud. Now she just tries to fit in as much as possible and stay out of drama. If they just weren't Sarah's bigger brother Rafe....
Rafe slowly but surely gets more and more addicted. He always felt anger and sadness much more intense than anything else, as a kid he didn't knew how to handle his emotions, he doesn't know now either, especially when they burst in like a tornado and then leave him in a huge mess. Sadly, he met the wrong people at the wrong time and got into alcohol, drugs, parties and girls. He's trying to distract his heart from what it really desires... affection and acceptance. But he distracts himself with everything but that. If only there wasn't his little sisters best friend, who somehow manages to piss him off without even saying anything.

Her mother's moods came like storms, her childhood was built on eggshells, and love-real love-was something she only ever read about in books. Nineteen now, she lives quietly: the bookstore, the notebooks, the stray cats, pretending everything is fine. Until Rafe Cameron walks in. He's loud where she's quiet. Angry where she's hollow. Two people who shouldn't collide-but do, because broken recognizes broken. It isn't love, not really. It's survival. Rafe Cameron was the last person she should have fallen for -her best friend's brother, a Kook with too many demons to count. He drank to forget, fought to feel, and spiraled until there was nothing left of him but the chaos he created. But with her, he was different. She was the only one who could quiet the storm in his head, the only thing that made him feel something real. She should have walked away. He should have let her go. Instead, they became each other's favorite sin -an addiction neither of them could escape. 𝓗𝓮 𝓱𝓾𝓻𝓽 𝓶𝓮 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓲𝓽 𝓯𝓮𝓵𝓽 𝓵𝓲𝓴𝓮 𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓮 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮~
