Gandolf's favor finds its way to him, as the sorcerer, growing old, asks him to take in his daughter, as an apprentice of sorts...
She gladly accepts part in his scheme to help a company of dwarves retake the Lonely Mountain, and the lost gold of Erebor. However, there is a glimmer in her eye, greater than all the treasure and gems under Smaug's horde, as she greets the eyes of Thorin. The King without a mountain.
Through dangers untold, and hardships outnumbers. She befriends a sweet and homely Hobbit, and the many of the company, while sorely attempting to save and win the heart of their leader.

"You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble. And whom is there to save her, but a certain Mirkwood prince with long blond hair and a pair of startling blue eyes. With one of them bursting with light, and the other filled with darkness their story will be anything but easy. Feelings, however, are hard to suppress, and with a war brewing on the horizon they might not have a lot of time. Read on if: You would like to figure out what Arya is. She winced slightly under the dwarves's gazes, feeling the heavy wight of Thorin's glare resting on her shoulders. She felt several stares traveling over the scar running from her left temple to her jawbone and shuddered as they came to rest on the mark beneath her jawbone. She is a Guardian, a dragon keeper, and she was responsible for Smaug's escape from his chains and the fall of Erebor. Raine joins the Company upon Gandalf the Grey's insistance that she would find redemption, but then the Dwarves find out about her past. Will they be as forgiving and understanding as the wandering Wizard is? Or will the bonds she formed with them overcome her past? But more importantly, will Thorin forgive her for damning his people? Maybe he'll allow Smaug one small victory before they reclaim Erebor... May 2020 Update: I'm attempting a rewrite between schoolwork and quarantining, but it will be a slow process because I want to write a new plot and such. Stay safe!! December 2020 Update: Well that plan went to Mordor...
