You are not a human. Your ancestors came to earth thousands of years ago and have evolved with humans. At that time interbreeding was strictly forbidden. When the number of Parthams started dwindling, some of them started breeding with humans. If you have interbred and have produced an offspring then those offsprings have to go through the Selective Legacy Tests. They compete against each other and only one of the siblings will be selected and then separated from the family.

Leysa Bhaskara has secrets, that she has safeguarded for many years. But now they are threatened to be exposed. Her family and her children don't have any idea of what the future holds for them. Her children are going to be put through the Selective Legacy Tests, where they are going to compete against each other. Only one is going to be selected. What will happen if her family is threatened? And the future of an entire planet is in jeopardy.

This story is about Leysa and Navil and their three children Aaden, Vysna and Tashvin. How their lives will change and what secrets they uncover in their world and the Partham ( Aliens that are living among them ) world along with fighting with sinister forces.

'Their curiosity and greed unleashed the darkness; only her light can destroy it.' A mission of a lifetime. New acquaintances that have the potential to become more. Overprotective parents and a sister from another mister who always has my back. My life is anything but normal and I believe it's about to become even crazier. Meet Freya Jones! On the outside she seems like your typical seventeen year old; quirky and sarcastic, rebel with a taste of discovery. But get to know her and you'll find she all that and much more. With parents who excel in their fields of study, they ingrained in her the values and lessons of what it means not only to be a scientist but also a soldier. This is also true for her Best friend Tanya Riker; who for all intents and purposes is her less evil, more cautious but just as rebellious twin. These two have made it their mission to ensure no expedition ever goes smoothly. But what if their latest one... the most important one so far! Has a few bumps in the road, except this time it isn't their fault. Can the 'Loki twins' rise to the occasion? Can they become a missions saviour instead of its saboteur? Read on if you wish to find out.😏 I'm now editing this story but please read and give any feedback! I welcome all opinions :) DISCLAIMER: All artwork used for each chapter are found on google images. Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Empire. At the end only Empire remains. No matter how many times you rebel Empire remains. No matter how many times you fight for your democratic Empire remains. Now bend for your emperorr. Welcome readers to my fantasy world. I have brought you something beyond the constraints of my imagination, and I wonder if many are ready for it; however, a good story must be told, and I am fortunate to be the one to tell it. Imagine a world where the vile nature of mankind creeps its ugly head as humanity faces its first and last major catastrophe. The world plunged into everlasting darkness, entrenched in chaos and disorder, where hope is a distant flitting memory. The story I propose to my fellow readers follows Anthony Verdun, who was only a boy when all he knew was taken from him in an instant. Like many others, on that day, those who survived lost a part of themselves, forever scarred by the family, friends, and loved ones they lost. Their lives changed forever; how could it not? I welcome you to join the world I have created, indulge in this hypothetical, and dive into this what-if. What that is, well, you would have to read to find out. Weekly chapter uploads, so stay vigilant. Here is the link to the community discord, where we can discuss the book further. How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? Right??? --------- Nova Queen and Arizona "Ari" Matthews weren't always close in high school, but after an intense and serious conversation in the library one day, the two become the best of friends until they go their separate ways their freshman year of college. Now in their mid 20s and freshly out of grad school, they are reunited in the park of their hometown where Ari asks a huge favor of Nova that she later wishes she had refused. But in the end, will she really wish she had refused? *FA spans a timeline from 2010-2020 to help the reader see how the relationships were built between characters in a partial series of flashbacks. It also helps the reader to really see into the minds of Arizona and Nova as they age, and the effect different life events have on them. It's a bit of a slower build and the plot is mostly seen a little later in the book, but I promise it's worth it. 🙂 *I do not own any of the rights to the music nor the pictures. *Rated M for language, sexual content, destructive behaviors, suicide, and dialogue that may be triggering for some readers. *These characters may do or say things that you don't agree or may get upset with, please remember YOU ARE NOT THESE PEOPLE, and their lives are a work of fiction and my imagination.
