Elizabeth Triphant, Princess of the kingdom Eldoriya, had mostly been alone her whole life. Her parents, the king and queen, were very busy people and often left her on her own. 
In her free time she reads about witches and elves, fairies and vampires, hoping something would brighten up the dull repeating cycle of her life.

 One night, she sneaks down to the dungeon of her palace, where she is strictly forbidden from. There she finds a girl her age, Monica Spark, a witch who had been locked behind the bars of her palace for years, them together make a plan to run away from the kingdom and experience freedom, that they both craved so desperately in different ways.
