The Boy With the Scorpion Tattoo (or Dear Agony, Let Me Go)

Gerard Way is a man on a mission: which is— other than to survive in this world and come out of his depression as a new person—is to have a change appear in his life, and make everything he had ever known, different. After beginning to notice the everlasting repeat of what feels like the same 24 hours, day by day, Gerard is just sick of it. The ignorance at school, his own self torture, and trying desperately to bring his torn family back into one piece again. He's tired of drowning in his sea of hidden, and prays someone will one day see right through it. And when the new kid moves in across the street, Gerard's life does start to change, in a few ways he'd never expect. Especially when this kid has a scorpion tattoo on his neck.
