From one shithole to the next - Isami is sold to the yakuza and has to submit to junior boss Kai Chisaki. She's used to being pushed around and controlled, so it's no surprise to her that he's just using her. She has been a tool for others for as long as she can remember.
But then events come to a head and she meets the leader of the league of villains. He shares her views on the world of heroes and she sees him as an ally.
