Six youths embark on a terrifying journey to worlds greater than our own. With the help of many unlikely supporters, the juveniles go on an adventure so intense, confusing, and mystical that they have to wonder: Did it really happen? or was the entire expedition all in their heads? After returning, the teens realize that something awful has happened, and they no longer doubt that this adventure really happened.
