He must use his inherited ability to step between these disparate realms to solve the mystery behind the Unseelie's appearance, and what connection it may have to his estranged wife Morgan's grisly suicide attempt. Having escaped a psychiatric hospital only days before, she leapt from a parking garage roof during rush hour, her body covered in Unseelie runes.
With his motley crew - among them a disgraced cop, a druid priestess for hire, and a Reiki healer with anger issues - Padraig begins a race against Lilith, the Unseelie high priestess bent on resurrecting her queen using Morgan as a vessel. If successful, nothing can stop them from destroying the wards, conquering the human realm as the next step in their eternal war against the Seelie.
