"ENTER SANDMAN"

After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, young Peter Parker finds that he now has incredibly enhanced strength, speed and agility.  Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, the idealistic teenager fights against evil as the costumed hero Spider-Man.   
Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of the Amazing Spider-Man story.  This is a time when young people believed that they had the power to change the world for the better.  In order to make a difference, Peter will need to rely on his friends for help and have the courage to believe in good.

                                                                                     LAST ISSUE:
The teenagers of Midtown High School in Forest Hills, New York are still grieving the loss of Gwen Stacy.  Her passing in Boston last spring has left a lasting impression on the Class of 1992.  Her best friend, Mary Jane Watson, hosts a party on what would have been Gwen's sixteenth birthday.  The get together is intended to celebrate Gwen's life as well as provide some much needed closure for the people who knew her best.             
During the summer, another creature lurks in the streets of Manhattan.  Much like the Lizard, this rat-like monstrosity that the media began calling the Vermin appears to be another product of unethical experimentation going on at Oscorp Industries.  Using his uncanny spider-sense, Spider-Man is able to locate the terrible beast and battle it across Central Park.  However, he is unable to capture the Vermin and now the saga of the Genetic Potential Formula rages on.

(Written: September 25, 2024) LAST ISSUE: For members of Midtown High School's Class of 1992, the journey is almost over. Soon they will graduate and go their separate ways and pursue their own dreams. But for now, they still have time to enjoy the journey. For Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, that means their storybook romance continues. The two teens are madly in love. Young love. A special time in their lives to savor the magic power of youth. They resolve to make the most of their time together. Meanwhile, fears about the future continue to plague Spider-Man. The masked hero returns to the research facility where he learned that Zoltan Amadeus was responsible for kidnapping the missing Oscorp scientists leaves him baffled. The entire facility was cleared out. Completely empty. After deciding to confront both Harry Osborn and Zoltan Amadeus, the wall crawler is blind sided by a sneak attack from the Vulture. Now, the hero is vulnerable and seems to be moments away from certain doom!

(Written: October 9, 2024) LAST ISSUE: A camping trip in the Adirondack Mountains is another opportunity for Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson to celebrate the magic of their love. The pair of lovestruck teens enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors along with the other students from Midtown High School during their senior class trip. Hiking, white water rafting and swimming are just a few of the fun filled activities enjoyed by the group of young people as their time together nears its end. However, during the weekend Peter has another amazing encounter with the mysterious Thomas Fireheart. The proud Native American man-animal hybrid appears to the young hero in another amazing dreamlike vision. This time he gives Peter a dire warning that evil forces are aligning against him. Darkness is on the horizon. Little does the young man behind the mask know that his enemies have found out his secret. The Hobgoblin and Zoltan Amadeus discovered that Peter Parker is Spider-Man!

Once there, Peter and Mary Jane have the time of their lives. That is, until the daughter of crime lord Silvio Manfredi is kidnapped and Spider-Man is needed to save her life. Once again, the costumed vigilante stands up to evil and saves the life of an innocent person. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn continues to struggle with his drug addiction. He is in a downward spiral in the wake of losing Mary Jane to Peter Parker. To make matters worse, Harry continues to hear a mysterious voice in his head. This new presence has begun to direct the nineteen year old owner of Oscorp Industries down a dark path. A twisted path. The voice urges him to seize the way to win. It encourages him to embrace a whole new philosophy: Believe in Evil.

Also, The Spider-Man was dead. And that Spider-Man was not me. It's Peter Parker my best friend and sworn enemy. Except in this world, he was the good guy. It has been two months since his confrontation with the evil Zoltan Amadeus. The young man behind the mask is convinced that the vice president of Oscorp is planning something evil. Little does Peter realize just how right he is and how Spider-Man will be needed more than ever before. Harry Osborn has been expelled from Midtown High School. The affluent teenager was the one bringing drugs into the school and has been summarily dismissed. It is a source of frustration for Osborn as he had hoped to win back the love of Mary Jane Watson before he graduated from high school. He burns with rage. Now, his rage has led him to embrace the evil philosophies of Zoltan Amadeus. So vile are the pair of entitled businessmen, that they arrange to have Peter Parker's aunt fired from her job.
