This story sheds light on Pan's past where he lives and he dies, and how he came to be in Neverland, as well as who he is and what he is.

Completely isolated and abandoned in a realm to which he is intrinsically tied, the chaotic nature god, Pan, yearns for a companion that is neither fairy nor siren, and seeks a way to escape his prison.
Upon realizing he can travel from the Second Star to his favorite playground, Earth, Pan finds an orphan on the verge of starvation and brings the boy back to his Neverland, unaware that though he may not age, mortals most certainly do.
Faced with the concept of Death and unwilling to part from his first friend, Pan devises a way to share his immortality and does so successfully but at an unknown cost to both.
So begins the ageless life of Theo, the first of the Lost Boys.
Theo joins Pan in his many adventures, wreaking havoc on Earth, fighting pirates and princes, doing whatever it is that Pan asks of him. All while never passing the age of nine.
Due to the process that gave him true immortality, and the fact Pan refuses to ever grow older, Theo is stuck under the control of Pan's ability to manipulate their ages.
Until he isn't.
Because Pan finds himself enamored with a girl that tells enchanting stories. In an effort to be closer to her, Pan allows Theo and himself to age as a natural human would; after so long with the mind and body of children, neither Pan nor Theo are prepared to deal with what happens when one grows up.
Pan's mask begins to crumble as the past, present, and future threaten to tear apart the reality he chooses to believe in.
Unable to come to terms with his shifting perspective of his role in a life that isn't truly his, Theo grapples with complex emotions he doesn't understand but is determined to chart the path he must walk for the rest of his days on his own.
