He was handed a scroll rapped precisely in red ribbon with Prince Tommy's national symbol on it, a simple yet delicate crown.
He opened the scroll carefully, his hands shaking until he noticed and stopped. It had been a long time since another kingdom needed him, and when they did, it usually wasn't a good thing.
His cold ruby red eyes darted across the page as he dropped the scroll and sat up straight in his throne, stiff.
All he heard was screams, some from himself, some fake, some so loud that they seemed real. They all had one thing in common though, they were all in his head.
