ECHO OF THE OCEAN.

The Medusa Deception
Dreams. They're only dreams. Strange, brutal dreams, straight off the pages of an ancient Greek mythology book. That's what Mandy Burkhardt tells herself, stocking shelves at the Occult Bookstore in Chicago. Her boss senses more. He feels something. An awakening. The prophecy. The others can, too, even if they can't quite put a finger on it. As the hidden power inside of her grows, an ancient spell comes to life, compelling her back to her rightful time and place: ancient Greece, a barbaric era of witches and gods, gorgons and oracles. Witnessed by new friend, Ryan Taylor, Mandy's disappearances can no longer be denied. Together, they try to discover what's happening to her and why but in the process become targets in a deadly and sinister plot. Caged, trussed, shackled and hunted, Mandy must come to terms with her past and fight for her future in a bloody battle to the finish with even more at stake than she knows. * * * Bringing legend back to life in this present-day fantasy thriller, the Medusa Deception gives readers a glimpse of ancient Greece and the gods - their thirst for power and revenge - their treachery and lies.Concluida

From Geneology to war - A compendium of Greek Mythology
A helpful guide to Greek mythology including the primordials, titans, gods, goddesses, monsters, heroes and more! Things to note about this story is that since I'm writing about real historical mythology, there is of course many, many, different variations, retellings and plots in existence for each one of the myths so I will do my best to comment on and add in variations when necessary, though in some cases I may just stick with the most common, my favorite or the most historically accurate depictions! "If this is just the original myths can't I just go on Theoi?" Well I try to recount all of the myths in an accurate but easy to understand way, which is quite difficult other places, though if you have any questions about anything, please just ask!!
Melaina's Burden Of The Aegean Sea
Melaina and Thalia both now know that it wasn't Hades who had murdered her mom and tried to kill her and her siblings when they were younger like she was led to believe. With this newfound information, Mel and Thalia then set their sights on the other gods or goddesses who could have possibly held such a hatred for her father as well as them. They dive and explore both their newfound powers and abilities while the strength of their friendship is being tested on their journey. Along the way, the two girls meet Castor, twin brother to Pollux, who stirs up unwanted attention and problems for them all. Their journey for the truth sends them to the underwater kingdom of the Aegean sea, home to Poseidon, for her answers. However, Mel must fight her hardest problem yet: her feelings. Poseidon's Wrath
Long gone are the ancient Greek Gods. The elements long for their revival, and now the powers of the old gods return. A regular family man has been chosen to receive the powers of Poseidon, control over water, but now he is being hunted by the hidden factions of the world, one aiming to keep him locked away from the rest of the world, the other aiming to destroy him. The newly chosen Poseidon must survive these forces all while trying to keep his family safe. This is a story I drafted in a book when I was 13, I finished it a few years ago and wanted to put it here. I have started writing the sequel, and would love to share it with the world, but have a case of the Attention Deficiency so I felt putting it here would boot me into gear. Please enjoy and feel free to comment and leave notes :)Concluida
The Hidden Gods Amongst Us
In ancient times a prophecy was foretold of the world's destruction. A prophecy crazy enough to draw the attention of the king Zeus himself. After sending his messenger, Zeus only knows the more heroic parts of the prophecy, not knowing that thousands of years later he'd be in for a big surprise. From her powers awakening at an earlier age than predicted, Dylanie struggled with controlling them. Finally gaining a mastery over her powers, she got accepted into a college. Finally thinking her life is back on track, Dylanie finds herself is a whirlpool of mystery when she finds others like her in a similar situation. It's just one thing after another, not knowing the biggest challenge of them all will soon be arriving. *HI THERE!!! -Welcome and thank you for taking the time to stop by and read The Hidden Gods Amongst Us. This is my first work that I've felt comfortable writing and sharing. I will be writing updates but bear with me, my motivation is very low so I will update when I can.
