When ''The Smiling Critters'' got added into playcare, there were only seven of them: Hoppy Hopscotch, Kickin Chickin, Crafty Corn, Bobby Bearhug, Bubba Bubbaphant, Picky Piggy, and DogDay. Before they got added into Playcare, they went through a series of tests to check if they really got what it takes to take care of children in an orphanage. After a few weeks of getting used to eachother, they heard the intercom turn on with a man behind it telling everyone that the ''Smiling Critters'' was a HUGE success, and that they have an announcement to make to all of them. ...And what they heard shocked them all... So with the two new scents of Lavender and Valerian. Will they all get along? Dogday, and the other critters, however, disagree with his beliefs. The cat punished them according. Dogday in particular took the brunt of said punishment, as Catnap nearly manages to kill him. Until something mysterious happens once Catnap uses his signature poppy gas. He finds himself falling unconcious to the poppy gas himself, as Dogday wakes up in a new, yet familiar world.

Dogday; battered,traumatized, dismembered body finally relaxes after many years. What will dogday do once he sees the oh so familiar Purple feline again?
