After a five-day delay, Natsu returns severely injured from a mission with Happy. Everyone expects a return to normal, but Natsu makes a terrible decision: he leaves Fairy Tail to fulfill his tragic destiny, beyond even his fate as a Dragon Slayer.
Unable to accept his departure, Lucy, Gray, and Erza will do everything to find him, unaware that they are about to face the most painful situation of their lives.
From then on, they will live for one and only one purpose: to save Natsu from his impending death.
