A poem from a fighter's perspective who fights his oppressors with violence but in doing so he risks the life of his people, and wonders that if he dies, would it end all the suffering for his people or the oppressors would get even more violent as there would be no one left to stop them, it's a paradox, if he fights, the oppressors would react with a force that would lead to destruction of his people and if dies, then the oppressors would continue to oppress his people, in both scenarios, pain and suffering is inevitable.

Creature of the Night
Many years ago, a boy's family was massacred by humans as they suspected his family practiced witchcraft which was not accepted among the people. He was traumatized and lived in fear after all the people he loved died. He feared love. Afraid that if he ends up loving anyone again, they will be taken away from him. So he became rogue, merciless, unable to control and his hate for humans grew day by day. His power made him a King whom no one dared to disobey. He had both power and looks and his looks made him a walking "temptation". He was stoic and had turned off his feelings of love and mercy. Mirabelle, a young madien who was placed on a curse at a young age. The curse was placed on her to pay for her father's sins and she was only meant to be free from the curse after a man falls in love with her. But who can fall in love with a blind girl?

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem.
