Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber. Dear Journal, Impa told me that writing this after Link passed would help me heal. Heal in what way? I don't want to heal, I don't even want to live. Link was my everything. A Link in Time
When friends, Heather and Skylor, are having one of their sleepovers, the two find out that they can make a certain doorway open. What lies inside this door, well, that's the thing they weren't expecting. Inside, they find about half a dozen Link's, all from the different Legend of Zelda games. Who knew that the Link's gathered when a new game was created? Though a few Link's are off doing their own thing, the rest find that two girls have entered their 'Linkverse,' so to speak. This in turn causes a problem for them, as no one other than the Link's have been able to come to this world. The main Link, or at least the one who thinks he's their leader, Ocarina of Time Link, or Time, attempts to find them a way back. However, no one was expecting how these turn of events were going to go.Complete

"Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within.
