Two hours later, true to her word, Morgana pushed open the door to Char's room. This time with more ease than earlier. The room was bathed in rainbows as Char finished shrinking the ball of light back to nothingness while maintaining the colors. "That will never cease to amaze me," Mor breathed out as she leaned against the doorjamb. "Honestly, I don't see myself getting used to it either. And it's my magic," Char agreed with Mor. She grabbed her journal of notes to study while she waited in case they arrived early. After making sure the lights were shut off in her room, she motioned for Morgana to lead the way. "You'd think since we are both infrequent magic users, they wouldn't have any finals for us. But apparently, they felt the need to go to the lengths of digging out the tests from when both of our magics were last in use," Mor grumbled as they wound through the corridors that led to the office of Professor Neptune. He would be administering the final exam. "At least they modified them, though," Char said as they rounded the last corner. Four years later, the towering door to Professor Neptune's office still amazed both girls. "These are going to be the things I miss the most in this place," Mor mused as she stroked her hand down the ornate carvings. Sea creatures of all kinds covered the doors. As well as water nymphs, hydra, sirens, and even some kelpies. But the best part of the door was the giant Kraken that made up the centerpiece. Even in shades of deep blues and soft greens, it looked menacing. "This door and Professor Centruos' door are two of my favorites for sure," Char agreed. The silvery door is woven with designs that signify his time magic still left Char dizzy sometimes.
