Capper Dapperpaws was forced to pay his debt to Verko due to the betrayal of his late former friend. But before the Mane Six had wandered into Klugetown, he had met an adventurous and yet beautiful Abyssinian who has been traveling since the fall of Abyssinia. He's afraid of opening his heart to her, but he's going to try and help her. 
Shira Silverfeather has been traveling the land since the fall of Abyssinia. She's been an explorer and an Abyssinian refugee when fled her home kingdom after the Storm King conquered it. But during her travels, she never expected to wander into Klugetown and meet a handsome Abyssinian. 
These two learns to never lose sight of their hope for their futures. Despite how far apart they are, they want to reunite with each other. But they each have to help the ponies whose kingdom has been conquered by the Storm King's minions. Capper wants to help the Mane Six and Spike, even at the cost of one of his nine lives. Shira is going to help the ponies of Ponyville by protecting them. What's going to happen next is a total mystery.

King Sombra x Flurryheart This takes part in between the battle of king Sombra and my own sort of universe, this is about how the shadow king fell in love with the beautiful princess, of shining armour and cadence. I don't want to give away too much about what will happen, but enjoy. In the middle of foal napping baby Flurryheart, King Sombra gets defeated twice by the mane six. After the second defeat he is banished to the dungeons below the crystal empire. After a 16 years of being trapped in the dungeon below the crystal empire, Flurryheart stumbles upon the dungeon and sees the king in a cage. He ends up lying to her to gain her trust. As they become close king Sombra scams his next plan that involves using Flurryheart for his own plans, will he end up actually falling in love with the young princess of love? Or will his plans to take over Equestria once and for all put a stop to their friendship.

I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. All non-original characters, locations and concepts (eg, Fluttershy, Equestria, Elements of Harmony) belong to Hasbro.
