Capper Dapperpaws was forced to pay his debt to Verko due to the betrayal of his late former friend. But before the Mane Six had wandered into Klugetown, he had met an adventurous and yet beautiful Abyssinian who has been traveling since the fall of Abyssinia. He's afraid of opening his heart to her, but he's going to try and help her. 
Shira Silverfeather has been traveling the land since the fall of Abyssinia. She's been an explorer and an Abyssinian refugee when fled her home kingdom after the Storm King conquered it. But during her travels, she never expected to wander into Klugetown and meet a handsome Abyssinian. 
These two learns to never lose sight of their hope for their futures. Despite how far apart they are, they want to reunite with each other. But they each have to help the ponies whose kingdom has been conquered by the Storm King's minions. Capper wants to help the Mane Six and Spike, even at the cost of one of his nine lives. Shira is going to help the ponies of Ponyville by protecting them. What's going to happen next is a total mystery.

Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. All non-original characters, locations and concepts (eg, Fluttershy, Equestria, Elements of Harmony) belong to Hasbro.

Shattered Pieces (Book 1) by Pidgeholtgunderson

Voltron and OC AU called Crystal Faith. Everything seems to be going just fine in Shiro's life. He's a senior officer at the Galaxy Garrison (Crystal Core) along with his fiancé Adam and his daughter just enrolled as a cadet. But he keeps having nightmares and it's starting to mess with him. There's a battle with the Galra on Earth that leaves everyone shaken, but leaves Shiro in worse conditions than before. (Voltron is not necessarily a part of this story.) None of the art is mine. (Shiro is a winged lion, Adam is human, Pidge is half Altean, and half Galren, Holly is a weird, human thing with wings, Iantha is a catfolk, Lance is human, Luna is a werewolf, Percy is human, Keith is half galra, Krolia is a full Galra and that's about it.) (Krolia is NOT Keith's mother in this AU, Pidge is Shiro's adopted daughter, Adam doesn't die, and Holly, Iantha, Percy and Luna are NOT my OCs. They belong to a very good friend of mine.) Crystal Bearers are protecters of the universe and all that magical stuff. A crystal fuses itself to a person, giving them the powers of that crystal and the ability to fuse with other Crystal Bearers. (Cool right? My friend made this all up, none of this was my idea, so you can say a big thank you to her for making this happen.) So the spiral light at the center of the universe was shattered into 9 shards and the universe has been in chaos ever since. Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. I don't want to spoil anything else, so you have to read the book to find out what happens!

Under editing Aurora Feathers is your average Pegasus. She was just doing her own thing, waiting for the friendship festival when a giant airship landed nearby. After three of the princesses had been turned to stone and the army of the pony known as Tempest was capturing and enslaving all of the ponies in Cantorlot did she run. Aurora ran to the bridge which had been destroyed and went to jump but the over side had guards and she wasn't able to stay there for long. She fell down the long cavern and ended up joining Twilight, Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, Rarity and Spike on they're journey to save Equestria. On this journey, Aurora meets a certain feline who catches her eye but is it just her that has taken a liking to the feline or does he have feelings back

This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events.
