Ever since operations began, criminal mastermind The Hood has being desperately wanting to take over and gain the secrets of International Rescue; the organisation dedicated to saving lives.
The criminal has always had his plans being foiled by them but this time he thinks he'll have the rescue team and their secrets in his hands.
He strikes the organisation trapping half of them in space, including Samantha; Jeff Tracy's only daughter and the Tracy brothers' sister, leaving only the few remaining members left being relied upon to save them.
With a threat now looming over everyone's heads that could define the fate of IR, everyone is frantically trying to put a stop to the plans, whether they are successful or not is a different matter.
