TRUE PENITENCE

SIN cannot be erased or paid by penitence (hurting ourselves) /good works/sacrifice

*JESUS PAID for our sins by dying on the cross.

*JESUS Died Once and for all

Hebrews 10:10 KJV
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all

*JESUS said "IT IS FINISHED"

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Why do people still do the penitence of hurting themselves?

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

TRUE PENITENCE

* ADMIT that you are a sinner
Romans 3:23 KJV
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

* You are bound to HELL
Revelation 21:8 KJV
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

* BELIEVE that JESUS died for you and your sins, buried and rose again (1 Cor. 15 1-4)
