It was sometime after the defeat of the Wasp King. The land of Bugaria has decently recovered and new or re-established connections between kingdoms allowed them to start properly developing. Life was peaceful.
Team Snakemouth was going about their day, helping people in need, until on a quest board appeared a new name.

At the same time, a devastated kingdom, long dead and empty, has started to rise from its slumber, unlocking its treasures... and horrors.
