All Phyllon wanted was to hide away from the trouble surrounding the Royal Court and spend the season growing his father's merchant empire. However, the trouble from the Court follows him in the shape of a well-meaning but naive prince, whose inexperienced actions threaten to unbalance the already fragile political climate. In an attempt to save the prince from his naivety and political manipulation, he finds himself drawn into preventing a secessionist plot and helping the prince on his personal quest for a cure for his beloved.
