A train stop in Birmingham, England temporarily pauses her travels as a customer takes a high-paying interest in her. Thomas Shelby is the leader of a notoriously criminal gang, the Peaky Blinders. Although he is known for practically owning this area of England and being a gun-toting gangster along with the rest of the Shelby family, he is also wealthy, powerful, a family man, and a cunning businessman.

Needing a fresh outlook on life after the gut-wrenching murder of his wife, Tommy finds joy and amusement in Vanessa, the new twenty-five year old minx who has just arrived in town.
Slowly becoming enamored by her, Tommy pays for her services daily to keep her from being touched by any other customer.

Heart still broken from his wife's death, Tommy refuses to ever love or marry again...
But suddenly feeling possessive over Vanessa, he has made sure for the last six months that she would only be paid to whore for him.
