Fauns dancing around fires. Griffins soaring high. Unicorns galloping across wide fields and centaurs battling giants.

These are things Amelia Cromwell sees every day.

She doesn't know how they happen or why she sees them but every time she looks through a rain covered window or at a patterned wall, they're there. Does she feel crazy and odd about these sensational images? Absolutely.

It feels like something is missing in her life, but what?

Now that her father has gone off to war she has to stay at the beautifully empty mansion of Professor Kirke.

When four siblings arrive at the mansion, Amelia's life is thrown upside down. With an irritable boy, an emotional little girl and two protective older siblings, life could not have suddenly become more complicated.

Throw a mystical land and magical creatures into the mix, and the result is confusion, anger, hope and love.

Edmund Pevensie seems ready to grind Amelia into a million pieces, but when she is his only comfort and last hope in a land where nothing is familiar, could love bloom in the depths of his shadowed heart?

******************
"Yes. I'm not ready to die yet. There's still so much I have to do..."

"Like what?"

He sighed, "I've always wanted to sign up for the army - to help us win the war so that other children don't have to be separated from their parents like we were. I need to see my dad again, make sure he's okay and not dead with a bullet in his chest. I have to... apologize to Peter for being a complete arsehole of a brother. I have to tell Susan that I'm really thankful for her making sure I'm okay, even when I was so rude to her. I have to tell Lucy that despite all the problems we had as brother and sister, I love her... I love all of them... more than they know..."

Amelia heard a single sniffle as he tried to wipe away the tears at his eyes by rubbing his head against the fabric on his shoulder.

"We'll get out of here, Ed, you'll be able to tell them all. I'll make sure of it."

She was the light. He was the darkness. One couldn't exist without the other. Edmund Pevensie knew that he was a king. He knew that he didn't deserve to have adults mock him like they did. He had lead armies. He had won wars. And yet, they all saw him as a teenager. Because he was. But a long time ago, he wasn't. Diana Montgomery waited patiently for the day her royal friends would come back to Narnia. The girl was immortal, a gift bestowed upon her by Aslan himself. Though she saw it as more of a curse. She would outlive all her friends. She would be labeled a freak. But Narnia was hers to protect while the High Kings and Queens were gone. One day after school, the Pevensie siblings find themselves back in Narnia, but one thousand and three hundred years later. All that they know is gone until they stumble across Diana who has let Prince Caspian take charge of the Narnian forces to defeat the Telmarines and restore Narnia to its former glory. Disclaimer: I don't own any of this except for my OC Set in Prince Caspian This is heavily based off of the movies. There will be dialogue from The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian and the plot of the book follows the plot of the movie with my own little twists. Side note: for story purposes, the characters ages have been upped slightly to fit with my plot. In the first book, the ages were as follows: Lucy: twelve Edmond: fourteen Susan: sixteen Peter: Seventeen Diana: fourteen In Prince Caspian the ages are as follows: Lucy: fifteen Edmond: seventeen Susan: nineteen Peter: twenty Caspian: eighteen Diana: she doesn't even know her exact age

"Oh. Milady Ashton, are you going to the ball for King Peter." The young centaur shyly asked Ashton. Ashton crouched down next to her, meeting her eye level with a friendly smile, "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, little one." "You know... The ball thing... Mommy told me it was the King's opportunity to woo a lady of Narnia." She explains with her limited vocabulary and a small lisp. "A courting ball?" Ben asks the little one. "That's it!" She exclaims, "Are you going?" "I guess we will see, we haven't been back to the castle since the war," Ashton tells the five-year-old, sugarcoating her response to avoid disappointing the child. "Ohh." She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Edmund followed her after her, wanting to help his dear friend with the news. "Ash, I'm sure there's an explanation." "Yes, a simple one Ed. I left. Your brother owes me nothing. It is his choice. If he wants every spoiled, perfect, primitive, self-centered princess within a hundred miles lining up at his feet. That is his choice and does not concern me." Ashton admits, more negatively than she intended. "This is not going to end well." Ben comments, openly. ╣╠ Ashton returns to Cair Paravel and it is clear that in the two years she spent away, much has changed. ╣╠ Multiple POV ╣╠ Story intertwined with the golden ages after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. I only own Ashton, Benvolio, and any other characters not in the books or movies. ╣╠

"Lost and cold. Tired and lonely I reached out. I waved my arms and screamed for help. Desperately trying to speak. But nobody saw, nobody heard. Insecure and scared I hid myself away. Tried to silently- telepathically ask for guidance. But nobody spared a second glance. Unloved and lonely I let go. I gave up. Not wanting to live in a world where love could not find a place in my life. I never knew how wrong I was. Never knew that he was always there and had been from the start. I thought of myself as the girl lost in time. The one who didn't belong. I was not worth the first life I was given and lost in the next. I was screaming, craving, searching for something I knew nothing of. until he found me. He, who saved me from myself. My dear King." Do you ever feel like you were born into the wrong world? Because that is exactly how Elodie Penvensie felt. Her twin brother Peter, and the rest of her younger siblings never understood her. In fact, they used to distance themselves from her quite a bit, seeing as Elodie's nose was always in a book, dreaming about the fantastical worlds she wished she was born into. And sometimes, wishes come true. Elodie's did when her youngest sister, Lucy, found herself walking through the wardrobe and into a land covered in snow. And for a moment, her life was perfect. It was everything she could've ever wanted. But all good moments must come to an end as they accidentally left the magical kingdom of Narnia. But when they're finally summoned back to face an army by the likes of which they'd never seen before, Aslan's words ring true. Nothing happens the same way twice. Because this time, they're given aid by Prince Caspian, the Tenth. And Elodie has never met someone so similar to her and yet so different in her entire lifetime, both in and outside of Narnia. So join Elodie on the adventure of a lifetime. ---- "How can we be ready if we've never ruled before? This will be so hard to do." Susan worried. "Hey, we'll be okay. The five of us will lead Narnia into peace and prosperity." I set my hand onto Susan's shoulder. "What does that word mean?" Lucy asked us making both Susan and I giggle. We forgot how young she really was. "It means wealth and goodness." Susan explained to her. "Then that is a true statement. We'll be the best rulers Narnia will ever have. After Aslan of course." Lucy made both Susan and I giggle. "What's all this laughing?" Edmund and Peter walked unto the room with smiles of their own. "Oh nothing. We were just saying how amazing Narnia is." Susan smiled at the two. "Well, Aslan said we better hurry. It's almost time to start the coronation ceremony." Peter smiled at us. We all started to giggle and help each other with finishing details. I hurried to out on my gold cloak to match my green dress. Peter and I matched perfectly with each other. Lucy and Susan hurried to put on their flats and Edmund was messing with his hair in the mirror. I sighed, helping my younger brother with his dark hair. He smiled thankfully at me. Peter gave me a worried glance when he began getting confused with the emblem holding his cloak on his shoulders. I chuckled before helping my twin. "You are all a mess." I sighed. "Yes, but you always know how to clean us up." Peter smirked at me. -------
