I feel his eyes on me, as the hovercrafts lights turn off. I'm seated right next to our target, he's probably looking at her. I turn my head a little but as our eyes meet I quickly turn back. 24 parts Complete Mature

I've never faltered in my convictions, but one fateful day, the ground shifted beneath me, and I came crashing down like a crumbling castle meeting its end. The promises that once guided me turned out to be mere illusions, designed to deceive and weaken me. Yet, I followed them blindly, as the rage inside me grew stronger and stronger, until I felt ready to stand there and watch them all burn. •Inspired by The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins •Content Warning: This work is rated Mature for depictions of violence. •Copyright Notice: Unauthorized reproduction or adaptation of this work is strictly prohibited. •Editing Status: This manuscript is currently undergoing revisions.
