The Light in the Dark (Completed)

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Drops Of Dew On A Lonely Leaf
"A tree stands all alone In the deep dark woods It has millions of leaves Each with different moods Some leaves shake, Some leaves shiver Some leaves fall, Some leaves quiver But I am the only leaf Of this lonely tree With millions of dew drops, All of them free So come, savour my dew drops Whoever you may be These dew drops are for you; A free gift from me" Hello there I write poems with simple words and deep emotions The name and the cover are kinda deceiving Most of the poems here are about heartbreak and depression I am planning on writing positive responses to my negative poems But hey Like my math teach told me "Too negatives make a positive." Or is that two positives...? Or two negatives....? The cursed couple
Rose Thornabell is the last witch in the Thornabell line. Her family was slaughtered by the king in front of her. She was taken from her home and imprisoned by the king for his own selfish needs. She thought this was going to be her life until she died. That was until a cursed prince appeared before her. Thaddeus Sliver was cursed when he was a child. Being the eldest, all he dreamed was to claim the throne when he was 25. With his 25th birthday around the corner, his dream seems to be out of reach. His younger brother, James, is in line for the crown. The king decided that having a cursed monster as king would bring shame to his name. He thought all hope was lost until he stumbled before Rose in the woods of the castle grounds. They come to an agreement to help each other. Break Thaddeus' curse and as king he'll release Rose from her imprisonment. But what happens when Thaddeus begins to have other motives to becoming king? What will happen when Rose begins to realize that maybe not all royals are monsters? "I don't just spout nonsense, Rose. I'm not a man that plays around. So, believe me when I tell you that I want you, I mean it." "You are my beauty I look to, to see the world. You're something I look upon to find peace in the war raging in my mind. IRON HAND (BOOK ONE): FOR THE GREATER GOOD
"Iron Hand" begins in the throes of what most stories would consider the final battle. Dark visions he believes to be warnings from the Gauntlet haunt his dreams. However, his fears are dismissed as the delusions of a war-weary mind. Determined to confront this new threat, Buren follows his visions to an ancient mountain, located within the sacred grounds of the Dryads. The distrustful Dryads deny him access. Out of options, Buren infiltrates the Faith, a fanatical human supremacist religious order, becoming their enforcer, their "Iron Hand." As Buren travels, we delve into the backstories of the "Seekers of the Artifact," witnessing his navigation through a treacherous web of intrigue where trust is a luxury he cannot afford. The realm suffers under a despotic king, with whom Buren must ally on the surface, while secretly plotting his downfall. The situation is further complicated by his arranged marriage to a woman harboring her own dark secrets. Literary heroes sacrifice everything for others, but what happens when saving the world requires sacrifices from everyone? When do the ends cease to justify the means?. What if saving the world involves sacrificing innocents, betraying loved ones, and allying with despised enemies? "Iron Hand" is a story of a man who gave everything to save the world once and is now prepared to do so again, even if it means crossing lines he never thought he would. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order.
