"Hey Celest!" She turned to us. "Oh, hey guys! Took you long enough to get here." "So, what did you find?" Zielo asked, arms crossed. "Yeah, show us!" Aaron urged excitedly. A grin spread across Celest's face as she held out her closed hand towards us. Slowly, she relaxed her fingers, revealing a small yellow glowing- "A rock?" Zielo said, somewhat disappointed. "First of all, this isn't a rock. It's a gem." Celest said. "One is just a shiny version of the other." He muttered. "And secondly, this isn't just any normal gem." ••• Alex makes his return for another magical adventure in the elemental realm. Now with a few new tricks to learn. After his first semester comes to a close, and his encounter with the Corrupted King, he and his team return to Arceus for the remainder of their first year. Fate and Destiny (The Fated Series, #2)
A kingdom across the sea, a man in pain clawing at a hated king who bears two shadows who protect him. A child, born from a mother with the powers of the Gods, screaming at a blood-soaked bed. A boy, a Prince, kind and full of the flame of life, sitting beneath a moon bug lit sky. Darkness enfolds the lands, its grasp claiming the continent and making its way from an already broken island, only to be stopped by the hands of fate. The hands of the girl and the Prince, and their love for the people in need of protection. This is their prophecy. This is their destiny and their fate depends on it. The Elemental rulers and their family are just beginning to find allies from unlikely and unimaginative places while creatures of myth and legend resurface from their campfire tales, and things aren't going as planned, so they'll have to find myths and legends of their own. Shouldn't be too hard. #6 - #strong-heroine #41 - #banter **Average Word Count Per Chapter: 8,000 **Edited (x2) LET ME KNOW IF YOU SPOT GRAMMAR ISSUES! *****Last Edited: 12/14/2024 NOTE FROM ME! - I very much model my works to resemble published examples, so there are no notes in any chapters from me, trigger warnings for chapters, etc. Just the world my brain likes to escape to every now and then. Extraordinary (The Extraordinary Saga #4)
"None of this makes any sense." "Have you seen our world? Most things don't." **** The small town of Lotus Valley isn't like anywhere else - not for the seven Elements, at least. Most people live their entire lives without even glimpsing the truth. But life in the valley is different for the few who see it for what it really is. When Caeden moves to the valley and discovers he has the power of fire, he knows his life is about to change. But that doesn't make it any easier. Struggling with controlling his new powers, Caeden wonders why he was given such a blazing, uncontrollable burden to bear. When fate reveals that Rowan, his only friend, has secrets too, the combination of their gifts starts to unearth some answers. But it's not enough. Only the Elements - ALL of the Elements - can set things right before a force known as Aether consumes and corrupts the entire valley. Caeden and Rowan and all of the others have no choice but to call upon something powerful and dangerous - the very thing they're fighting against - to save their extraordinary home. **I own the characters, ideas, and plot line of this series. ✧The Earthe of the Elves✧
"Upstairs!" I hear a yell and pounding footsteps. I crawl out of the window until I'm hanging from my hands. I take a breath. I let go. ~ Living in a small town with a single mother, Mia Glenn never expected anything special to come of her life. She never thought she would go on an adventure as harrowing as the stories she read. Until one day she narrowly avoids being kidnapped, discovering in the same day a whole new universe that she is supposedly a part of. As she navigates the elven world of Earthe with the help of a particularly attractive elf boy, she learns secrets about her identity and her father's, of whom she believed had ditched her and her mom at an early age. Soon Mia discovers that peace isn't as easy as it seems, and while Earthe may be beautiful, there are dark parts that are creeping back to the light. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.Complete
