Feckless

Things have never been easy for Blaire Burkeley. Life hasn't treated her kindly, and she has grown up with her brother as her guardian. But despite her struggles with her family and the constant threat of poverty, she has done her best to be kind and understanding to each person she meets. Quickly, she becomes known as the sunshine of her whole school. However, things change as James Day enters her life.

James is a quiet and pessimistic young man, who moves through the day as if he has the world on his shoulders. They instantly dislike each other because of their opposite personalities. But fate seems to throw them together again and again.

It seems they each need to learn important lessons from each other. How to stand up for oneself and say no. How to look on the brighter side of life. How to start really living. How to love deeply.

They only have one year left of their high school lives. Can they make it to the end in one piece?
