One individual, however, managed to escape his death. The King was intrigued by the young man so he, himself, went out to meet the boy. 

The King told the broken boy, that he would help him. Help him control his powers and protect him from the dangers of the world, but the boy must return to the Royal Palace with him.

The boy agreed.
