Pokémon: Kalos Journeys; Never Give Up Until It's Over

~Céleste receives her first Pokémon from Professor Sycamore! Meanwhile, Salem arrives in the beautiful Kalos Region. Could this be the beginning of a new adventure for both of them?~

This is technically part of a series that may or may not ever be released.
I was reminded of this silly self-indulgent Kalos-based fanfic universe I began writing after the announcement of Legends ZA last month and finally worked up the courage to post it.
Fun fact: while I watched the original series on tape as a kid, I truly began to fall in love with Pokémon because of the XY & XYZ anime seasons. Sun and Moon tipped me fully into the fandom, but I will always remember XY fondly (Ash was robbed of his win in Kalos; change my mind). Unfortunately, because I didn't have a Pokémon-compatible console until the Switch (at age FIFTEEN) my first games were Sword and Shield.
