Operation Royal Roller Toaster - A MLP Chapter Book Submission
Part of the batch of stories I am trying to submit to Little Brown and Company for their MLP Chapter Book Series. Princess Celestia has agreed to chaperone Twilight's Friendship School students (The Young Six) on a trip to a Fillydelphia amusement park on the day of the unveiling of a new ride, The Friendship Express. For this trip Celestia has recruited her sister, Luna, as she herself has never ridden a rollercoaster and the prospects of a day riding them seems daunting. But that is not the only drama as young Sandbar faces his own personal fears embodied by riding Princess Cadance's love coaster... With his best friend, who may be so much more to him. Despite multiple edits this will need a few more edits before it is 100% but I completed the story and wanted to get this updated version out ASAP for hopefully a pick up of new readers. Changing Our Destinies
It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! So why wasn't the filly prancing around in circles shouting "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again? Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for. So, knowing where her current path would lead her, there is really no sensible alternative than throwing everything away and changing her destiny to one she can agree to, setting her up for a life of intrigue and adventure, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding her and a certain pegasus, to find out who they really are. Unfortunately, in doing so, she ruins the carefully laid out plans a certain Princess of the Sun had drawn up. She ends up entering her inner self and attempts to fight it, but when she loses, all hell breaks loose and this time the elements can't stop this enemy, because as Luna loses. The elements of harmony are destroyed due to an ancient and forgotten power that Luna's inner demon knows about. It is left up to a single alicorn to fight off this terrifying antagonist. Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. All non-original characters, locations and concepts (eg, Fluttershy, Equestria, Elements of Harmony) belong to Hasbro.Complete
