Great Expectations | Stanley Uris
"𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲." Amanda Bowers was a loser. Ironic considering her brother was renowned around the town of Derry for his rebelliousness. But there was absolutely no doubt that the younger sibling of the two was a loser. No one wanted to be her friend in fear that she was just as bitchy as her brother, no boy wanted to be on the receiving end of a protective threat from Henry Bowers and in between making sure she lived through the day and avoiding unwanted confrontation, Amanda didn't do too well in school. The future didn't look bright. Yet she had cursed herself with the hope that one day, outside of Derry, she could make something of herself. Big dreams and a big heart would make a big success. And although everyone around her told her it was impossible, a group of friends she miraculously made over the summer had great expectations for her. However, these friendships are put to the test and threatened when a horror from the sewers of Derry unleashes itself on the town during the summer that Amanda had planned to spend lazily reading books all the time. The holidays turned out to be much more eventful than she had originally planned. Stanley Uris x Female OC IT 2017Complete

COMPLETED! Henry continued to stare at the rocks on the ground as I turned around and began to storm away. After crossing the creek, just as I was about to make my way up the small hill, his shaky voice rang out. "Wait!" He called, and I stopped in my tracks. "Could you..." I could tell he was reluctant, "Stay... P-please?" His voice broke and I could practically hear the sobs come back. I knew that was a sentence Henry had most likely never said before in his whole life, and how could I ever walk away from that? - This story corresponds with the 2017 IT movie, so parts will be different and changed from the original book and 90s movie. - WARNING! I was 14/15 when I wrote this so it's kinda bad and I totally messed the timeline up.Complete
