Arianna is a pretty regular girl. She has a happy life that consists of her family and school. She doesn't have many friends, but she likes it that way. Less drama, more studying time.

After living in the neighbourhood for thirteen years, she has never had a dramatic incident that has been life changing. Not long after her seventeenth birthday, Arianna begins having these strange dreams, dreams that are so really she believes that are memories. The dreams are always about the same person, a cute, nameless boy.

Not quote understanding what her dreams are about, Arianna decides to ignore them and continues with her life up until she meets the new family in town.

Could her dreams have something to do with their son? The one that looks like a splitting image from her dreams? No, it couldn't be possible. But what happens when Arianna's parents ban her from meeting this new family? Is that why she wants to meet them so badly? Or is it another reason?

When she was born her mother knew she wasn't normal. Her mother's family itself wasn't normal. She feared that her beloved daughter carried the gene that haunted her forever. At the age of nine something happened. The girls father was thankfully away on business and the girls mothers heart ached as she heard the all to familiar screams. She ran to the room with a thermometer. And as she thought the girls temp was at 110.5. She was aware that a normal person would be dead by now but as she knew....her daughter was far from normal. Niko is a 16 year old girl. She goes to school and lives a happy normal life. Well as normal as a teenagers life can get. She had tons of friends and was seen as kind of a badass but that confidence fell quickly when Ashton Shadow moved to town. She felt something when she looked at him as did he with her. In their town the woods were off limits. For the past eight years this town has been nothing but murders of young teens. Found mostly in the woods. What was killing these innocent people? No one knew. Niko's mom warned her about not getting to close to Ashton as his family was an enemy to theirs. She couldn't help but feel the need to talk to him. To protect him. To touch him. Most importantly to love him. Niko follows Ashton into the woods and what they both discover they will never forget.
