Where Tyranny is Law

After barely passing high school, Nika Kalra finds herself struggling to choose a college after clashing with her parents. After a particularly heated argument she storms out of her home to get away from her parents, not expecting to be flung into another world that seemed to be ruled by a tyrannical government.
Having no way of getting home and no means of survival she bumbled about until she was picked up by a revolutionary group whose sole purpose is to take down the government. Though hesitant at first, she gradually integrates herself and joins their cause. Though through out the journey she can't shake off the feeling of familiarity brewing in the back of her mind. It was like she'd been here yet not at all.
As Nika struggles to find way back home, she realizes that she might not be the only one who came across the mysterious portal.
Can she find a way back home and save her new found friends?
