Holly is a psychologist, just starting out clinically, and Will is a journalist, both striving to be the best in their fields. Will is motivated by the death of his younger brother and Holly by the death of her high school crush. Holly wants to fix the mental health system from the inside, Will wants to fix it by dismantling it first. Can they work together and find a common ground to fix a system that's irrevocably broken?
