Strawberry Wine (Strawberry Inn Book #2)

42 parts Complete Mature

At just 17, Blair and Cody were high school sweethearts with big dreams. They were both headed to university on athletic scholarships when a positive pregnancy test changes everything. Coming from two traditional families, they get married right after high school and Blair gives up her college softball dreams to follow Cody as he makes his way through minor league baseball, trying to land a spot on a major league team. The lifestyle is too much for their marriage and they end up getting a divorce when their son, Hayes, was just a young child. Blair moved back to Strawberry and Cody continued to travel around the country and even the world. Now, Hayes is almost eighteen and spending his summer before college as part of the young firefighter's volunteer program with the Strawberry Fire Department. Cody has since retired from his dream of playing professional baseball and returns to the small town he grew up in to spend one final summer with Hayes before seeing him off the school. Blair and Cody find out that the spark that brought them together never really faded.
