Artemis, a current loner, lives with her father, Raven, who lost his mate and his only loved one alive is his daughter, Artemis. Artemis was always protective and determined to help her father ever since she was young. As a loner, life is not easy. Artemis and her father often get chased and threatened from other cats and finding enough food is difficult. Fortunately, as Artemis kept growing, she has been a lot of help for her father and the two provide enough to survive. As Artemis wandered the nearby Clans' territories, one day she encounters a patrol of ThunderClan warriors. It is up to Artemis to choose what to do...

Stars entwine in the darker night as the sky cries stars of pity for those below. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. A fire. Caused by twolegs. And suddenly Nightpaw's entire life as she knows it has changed. The four clans that had ruled the territories for centuries have been wiped out. This story is set many moons after the great cats during Firestar's time were around. Also, any arcs after the first arc did not happen. Frostpaw becomes more independent then ever as cats from outside the Clan roams inside the Clans. The senior warriors of ThunderClan have met them before and eagerly accepts them into the Clan. Frostpaw feels that they are weird and tries to stay away from them any way that she can, but what happens when something horrible happens?
