The Children of Redwood

Caetlynn Black and Esteban Case have always had an odd relationship. In Caetlynn's first year, she stuck to Esteban like glue, and the aloof boy didn't seem to mind; but seemingly overnight, Caetlynn resented him with every fiber in her body and made it exceedingly clear.

Then, halfway through her second year, Caetlynn made peace with the boy and since then the two have been inseparable. No one is quite sure what happened, some speculate that it had something to do with the Alexandria, Caetlynn's best friend's disappearance. While others believe that it was due to the argument the two girls had partook in the night Alexandria went missing that caused the intelligent and levelheaded girl to act so irrationally.

Whatever the cause, the one thing everyone knows is that Alexandria Skile disappeared and her best friend began to act out of character.

Now, it's been three years and Caetlynn is in her third year, while Esteban is in his fourth and final year at Rotholtz Gymnasium. Allison Green has entered the picture and has the same curiosity and enthusiasm as Alexandria, and who just so happens to be friends with Caetlynn.
