For a while, I was depressed (and still kinda am). To help me with my sadness, I wrote and read poems and found and made up inspiring quotes. I know that a lot of people out there are dealing with problems like mine, so I want to help by letting you guys read this. All poems will be by yours truly. Quotes on the other hand is a different story. I'll let you know if I said them or not. FYI I have never cut before, but I do know people who do. And it's really sad don't do it. Hope you like it.

Just some scarian stuff I don't ship the real life people just the characters I have dyslexia so sorry for the spelling and punctuation and typos and all the other stuff :( I will write fluff and angst but I'm aroace so no smut as I feel uncomfortable writing it. I'm warning, I wrote this when I was 16 with no experience with reading or writing so it lacks quite a bit lol. I think I took the idea of one shots a little too seriously. I'm currently going over and editing bits, it may take a while as I'm so cringed out. I also may delete one shots I feel are...crap lol. Emotional Amnesia
Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say, "I know you're not". I have felt like this many times in my life; as a kid, teenager and as an adult. I have seen many things in my life and felt even more things that has been horribly depressing... But I got up. I stood up to walk on for another day. I dealt with my emotional amnesia the only way I knew I could and that was by writing it out into poetry. I wanted to forget my pain and forget what I was going through. I needed that cut of the blade or a pill to drink to take everything away. My poetry became both my pill and my blade... Now I share the most intimate part of myself with the world. The part of me I kept hidden in the closet. The part I never thought I would ever present to the world. Now is the time I have to stop having amnesia about my emotions. It is time to learn, to better myself and to stand up and remember the things that I shut out like a voluntary amnesia all these years. Those who are offended after reading this - f**k you!
