Iris is not wanted.
That is perfectly clear to her, as well as everyone else. From the foster home that sees her as extra cash, to her fellow pupils who can't remember her name, Iris doesn't belong.
So, when a mysterious boy falls out of the sky, Iris takes her chance and leaves.
