"Hum... My husband fainted, I think he'll be okay, but could you send an ambulance just in case, please?" I asked while stroking softly his head situated carefully in my lap as to not make myself uncomfortable because of his massive weight and height.

"Do you know what caused your husband to faint, ma'am?"

"Well... Long story short, we haven't seen each other in a long time and he saw, but... Hum... I didn't tell him..." I trailed more and more inaudibly, my fingers fidgeting a bit nervously.

"What didn't you tell him ma'am?" she asked in a tone that sounded both worried and intrigued.

I took a sharp, quick breath before letting the truth out once and for all,

"I'm pregnant"

Summary:

When Lysia Menerkas, a woman of various racial descents, meets Luciano Cassano for an interview in hopes of possibly working for his company, she didn't expect him to be interested in her in a way she deems unprofessional. However, what to do when these propositions are getting not only tempting but also convenient?

Despite all, she ends up in a scheme of revenge and betrayal against her will, with unrevealed secrets discovered each step she takes into falling in more ways than one for Luciano Cassano's many propositions. A man with more darkness in his heart than he dares show for fear of again losing permanently someone who would mean the world to him, the Cassano heir's interest in her is not simply about feeble wants.

Feelings upon feelings, denials over denials, without knowing which there are more of along the way, truths or lies, this woman and this man are maybe the only one another can truly trust with maybe more....than just loyalty.
