Unexpected
[ABANDONED} About 50 years ago, society began accepting regression. More research was done, and tests were then created and perfected to identify regressors and possible caregivers, along with matching them up and creating places spesifically for them. Daycares, playgrounds, hospital units. Everything was safe and accepting, from a legal standpoint at least. Jake was a regular college student. He played soccer, he went to his classes, he partied every other weekend, and he shared his dorm with his best friend, Mason. They both took the test at once, knowing what they'd likely be, but.. they weren't correct. Or even close. Now Jake's stuck with 3 caregivers, struggling to accept that he's a regressor, and having to adjust to his entire life changing in front of him without him having much of a say in it. At least he can still go into engineering like he wanted, right? Or is that being taken away from him too?
Game Over: Life's Over
Rated 18+. This story will feature strong language that may not be suitable for those under 18. A new genetic mutation has formed in humans that causes mental and physical regression to begin at the age of 18. All children are tested at 17 to determine if they carry the mutation. Jake is sure that he won't have it since it isn't all that common. It shouldn't happen to him. It won't happen to him. Until it does. Jake's life is turned upside down as everything he's ever known is now challenged and changed. Limits he never used to have are now set in place for him to follow. And to make matters worse, he is sent to live with two men who will become his caregivers as he regresses into an infant.
