Dr. Abigail Peters, a young psychologist, kept her clients to a minimum. She worked in the hospital and she was happy with her four or five patients a day.
Then, the interview happened. She was given the chance to be moved to a secret institute for the mentally insane. Her reputation surprised this facility, just as her next patients reputation surprised her.
Dr. Abigail Peters was assigned to one patient and this patient only.

Voicemail, yet again. Taking a deep breath, I start the message. "Hey, I've called you again. This is the last one, I swear. Remember when we would chat forever and ever? We would always drink hot coffee together and talk about our pointless day. It was a daily thing, until you found someone else to occupy your time. I wasn't needed anymore, so you cast me out. Parents always say they don't have favourites. Well, most of the time anyway. In some situations it was painfully obvious, like in Maya's. As the youngest, there were high expectations. Even higher when your brother is a doctor, and you're well... a high school drop out. She resented him for getting out of there, and living a life with fancy cars, and houses, and holidays. She thought his ego was probably huge, and that he didn't really like her anyway. But in a time of need, her brother was all she had, and it turned out he wasn't as much of a dick as she thought.
