Being a Runaway is dangerous.
They’re always after you. You’d be a fool to trust anyone- you’d even be a fool to sleep without one eye open. The Seekers will find you. They'll lock you up for life and treat you like you aren't human anymore, and then, if you're lucky, they'll kill you.
Alina Jhaveri doesn't care. She’d rather die than spend another minute with her abusive parents.
Being a Runaway is the worst crime one could ever commit.
How dare you reject The Society that way? How dare you disrespect your parents that way? You’re a disgrace. We can’t have an more like you- you’re going to become just another example of the consequences that come with fleeing.
But Brett and Naomi Sanders don't care. They’d rather die than spend another minute with their irresponsible, junkie parents.
Follow Brett, Naomi and Ali’s journey as they desperately evade the Seekers and try to reach safety- before it’s too late for all of them.
